The 2009 auction paid homage to the past with a great selection of wood planks, wood paddle boards and a bevy of balsa boards. Joe Quigg was once again recognized for his contributions with a nice collection of various shapes representing the distinguished career as the premier designer. Even James Arness of “Gunsmoke” fame had a collection. Rounding out the offerings were a big selection of Big Wave Guns and once again a great Greg Noll collection. More expanded 70’s and 80’s offerings, gave a glimpse of increased interest from younger collectors.
